Bob Arum pulled off an amazing stunt,he managed to give Bradley the fight whic Pac clearly won, creating a buzz for a rematch sometime later this year

We'll I'm here to say I will not buying this fight,or even plan on watching it. I've seen everything I needed to see between tim and manny. This matcup no longer intrigues me.

So Bob,save us the trilogy, you proved your point.spare us please:good

Trust me, Uncle Bob doesn't care what you think.

-Nor what any other true fan thinks.

The PPV money comes from non-fans, average viewers who can barely name three fighters, and one of those would be Ali. (Whom they probably think is still fighting, and who would lose to Pac if they ever actually fought each other.)

Yes you will, y'all gonna watch the rematch. A week from now or a month when emotions are back to normal and you re-watch the fight with some Japanese feed, you'll realize it was actually quite good and very close, and you'll come around for R13, guaranteed! :deal

Still would be a mistake counting on them necessarily coming back either though. Look at the numbers for the Lewis-Holyfied rematch compared to their first meeting.

A lot of people will be interested in the rematch, more so the casuals. I don't blame you for not being interested, but Bradley has gone main stream for winning a fight by robbery over pac. The rematch might be bigger then the fight last night.

Lol before the fight people were saying Bob Arum has the judges in his pocket and it's impossible for Bradley to win a decision. Pac is Arums cash cow and the judges are in his pocket. Bob is a dick for propping up the judges in Pac's favor.

The next night: Bob Arum has the judges in his pocket and it was impossible for Pac to win a decision. Arum wants Pac to lose so he can get a rematch. Bob's a dick for propping up the judges in Tim's favor.

First of all, never attribute to malice what can be explained by incompetence. Second, Bob Arum isn't the evil genius you think he is.

The poor decisions in boxing aren't randomly distributed though, which is why I no longer accept the incompetence excuse. And guys far less smart than Arum have managed to pull off shady **** in this sport; you don't have to be an evil genius to get away with corruption in boxing.

Yeah but you can't have it both ways on this one. Everyone goes in saying that the fight is rigged in pac's favor. Then he gets robbed and everyone is saying that the same guy is responsible for it.

People said Arum would NEVER let his cash cow lose, and are now saying he orchestrated the loss.

Bring it on. I'm not satisfied with the ****. Right now just the knob has been inserted. Pac Mania needs to feel the full force once Bradley gets a clear UD in a rematch.

    Arum: "It's just business, Manny."

So is the story that, to avoid losing to Marquez or Mayweather in November.....they secured Bradley vs Pac 2 by...............having Pac lose? Doesn't that not only defeat the purpose, but make Pac look worse by having him lose to Tim Bradley who isn't that great?

If your rigging the fight, wouldn't it be more profitable to have Pac win a split decision? You can still have the rematch AND you get the bonus of not tarnishing Pac's record.

Better yet, have pac win, and fight a more profitable fight with mayweather!

I just don't see the upside to this why Bob would be behind it. Occam's razor states the simplest explanation is also the most likely one. The 80 year old judges suck.

There were people on this very forum and elsewhere who mentioned the possibility before the fight of Top Rank pulling strings to get Bradley the victory, especially since everyone knows Pacquiao is on his way out.
