I think he's a truly special fighter. If you see one guy like Rigondeaux in a decade, you're lucky. He's so poised, relaxed and nonchalant, it's amazing to watch.

The only slight concern is his age but on talent alone, he'd easily deserve to be in the P4P rankings.

Yep, but I have a big issue with anyone who ranks him there.

Yeah, he doesn't have the resume to be there yet. I just hope we get to see him in some great fights soon though because he has the pure ability to be #1.

Agreed, this guy is amazing to watch, clean work, none of that dirty stuff, just amazing boxing technique, and I don't know about you all, but I love the way the guy does a slow motion left hand punch (sort of a feint, but really slow) and then just fires that same hand straight after and lands!

What a ****ing powerhouse, they should of put this as the co-main event. Arum will never let Donaire close to Rigo, it would be a massacre.

Absolutely punch perfect last night, what a beast. Needs to step up asap, we need to see him against someone good enough to give him a little war to just see how he reacts. He's had it all his own way as a pro, be interesting how he handles being taken out of the comfort that makes him look so natural.

When that happens is because he is too old for the sport...

I see that the world is just realizing what we Cubans already gave for granted:

    Rigondeaux is the Truth

Even at the age of 31 (cause believe me, :) , we saw him fight from age of 18 to 29, he is able to maintain the quick precision work he regularly delivered back them ...
But I believe that his age is the reason why he is eager to get in with the other paper champs of the division ...
