Marquez and the Golpe A Golpe team analyze Pacquiao-Bradley: "He looked Spectacular"

Marquez doing the best he can to make a case to save the fourth fight. It was as clear a robbery as you gonna get, but Pac was by no means spectacular in there

 

The middle rounds definitely had glimpses of Manny "The Destroyer" Pacquiao. There was this one round (4th or 5th?) where Pac was moving side to side, landing on Bradley's head and Bradley looked so completely lost, he couldn't re-orient himself and finally came out of the barrage looking a bit dizzy and disoriented

 

. Bradly landed a few decent counters and he was stepping back a lot but his punches werent bothering Pacquiao at all . A couple of years ago Pacquiao would have walked thru him regardless of the return shots and blasted him with combinations. His intensity just isnt there anymore., and thats partly because he's physically faded.

 

Hey when you pick the upset, its fun to rub it in others faces. Pacquiao got robbed. Who cares? He doesnt even care. It happens. And i didnt score Bradley winning. I had it even. He won 2 and 7. And swept the last 4. I dont care how anyone else saw it. Pacquiao got tired and failed to impress the second half of the fight. He dominated his rounds early to mid and then Bradley landed more and looked better the last 4 rounds without a doubt. Not much more to it.

 

lol. you cant even dissect proberly how Bradley won other than Pac making his ball head as target practice. stfu already.

 

Its so sad that Pac vs. Mayweather is gonna fall into the long list of fantasy fights that should have happened....

Even if they do fight in the near future, everyone will wonder what would have happened 3 years ago if they had fought.

Bradley had a fractured foot, a rolled ankle, and Pacquiao lost the last 3 rounds on all the judges scorecards and he looked spectacular. :rofl

 

not with the power of a twelve year old girl he's not. pac was being stunned by marques and pac was laughing and smiling at the commentators at bradleys hardest shots haha

 

agreed. he clearly beat bradley but he is not the same fighter that he was against cotto, which is what i think was his prime.

 

That's one big thing right there. I personally believe that Pacquiao now sees boxing as his stepping stone to greater things, and that stone is about to get behind him. As a poor young man he boxed to pay the bills, but now he's got the endorsements, enterprises, and politics that all overshadow boxing. I think he's still boxing more because it helps his public exposure back home for endorsements and to keep the goodwill of the voters, rather than because it's what he lives for.

Once he feels he doesn't get major leverage from being the 'National Fist' of the Phillippines anymore, once he doesn't need it to climb further up the ladder toward presidency, he's outta here.

Think about it he already doesn't need boxing financially. No wonder he's so 'whatever' in the ring these days. When he was going up against the Mexican greats back in the day, he'd have been crying like a baby. Last night he was a senator wondering how to spin a PR disaster.

 

With those same judges of last night, i am sure he would too.

 

I think Pacquiao fought slow so he could time Bradley. Could be that he is aging, but I think he has more speed left in them, just switched styles for the fight
