Serious question. Who can be held accountable for this sort of thing? If we go for the judges, they are so simple to replace, but at the same time it's simple to replace a corrupt judge with another corrupt judge. What is bothersome about this decision is that there isn't a legitimate argument about Bradley actually winning the fight. Being a Marquez fan, I'd be lying to you if I didn't believe Pac had a legit stake in terms of argument and boxing philosophy for his case in terms of winning all 3 decisions in their 3 epic bouts, even though I thought Marquez won 2 of those 3 fights according to my own understanding of the sport. The feeling I get now is that somehow someone determined that Bradley would win the decision if he survived, and the only way Pac was going to win the fight was by knockout. I don't believe either fighter was aware of what had already been decided. So why? I'm sure there are many possible explanations. My destination at the moment is one where I'm trying to make sense as to why this happened, and who is responsible? So yeah, I'm wondering who you people think conspired to give Bradley the decision. Or how to you justify that there is no conspiracy at all?
Gamblers got to Duane Ford like they did for Taylor Hopkins and he got his puppet Cj Ross to join in. Both scored round 5 for Bradley, both identical scores. Had to be hand signals. They had to give 5 to Bradley or it would have gotten out of reach. It was a major operation and they were compromised.
Arum was clearly behind this fiasco! Did Manny plan to leave TR? I mean thats the only conclusion I could think of!
Of course you can make a case for Bradley winning, I had him winning. Quit crying, Manny can't hit anyone that moves.
Its boxing. I dont watch this sport anymore to determine who the best is, its impossible. I just watch it to see drama and people get KTFO.
To be honest. HBO and the ringside reports make this seem like such a bad decision it makes me laugh when the reality and a seasoned review of the fight indicates it was much closer in almost every regard to the proposed "reality" by mainstream media. Take HBO and their commentary of the Bailey fight before it, how they ragged on Bailey, said there was nothing he could do to win and even post the first knock down "Just a small blip for Jones who will easily walk away with this victory" - then BAMPF. HBO were terrible, the way they discredited Bradley in the first round made me laugh - Pacquaio throws and lands perhaps three punches to go against two and a half minutes of work from Bradley and suddenly "Pacquaio not even phased, boom boom boom and the round is his" That's the standard we're dealing with here. Yes, Pacquaio deserved 116-112 but ultimately? Two swing rounds and we've got a draw. He did not deserve to lose and I can't get to that decision myself despite multiple viewings but he didn't get a practical shut out against Bradley and his own lack of activity in Rounds 1, 2, 8, 9, 10, 11 and 12 seem to be what cost him in the eyes of the judges.
That's where you are wrong. Everything points to them both knowing ahead of time. - but I'm not going to wast time describing it all point by point again. Watch the fight again. If you can't see it, you're dumber than George W. Bush.
Blame Packo. He should have found a way to make the Mayweather fight and assumed he could keep going on cruise control until it happened.
