If timmy denounced his win, said he felt he lost to PAC. Gave the belts back would that fix what has happened? People threatening to boycott the rematch, but would taking the high road and demonstrating great sportsmanship help tim's careers in the future and fix this this whole fiasco? Rather than being the who was remember for being on the fix he would be remember for the guy who done the right thing. I think this 100% without a doubt would fix things for Tim. Doing would also bring huge positive media attention cause it'll be a first and the rematch would sell throug the roof. Anyway that's my 2 cents thoughts?
The very first word of your post is missing from the thread's title. To answer your question: No, the bad was already done. It will only help Bradley's popularity (a lot). I won't watch a rematch no matter the stakes. I'm not into this sport for the stakes the boxers and their promoters share. They can bet their wives in this one. It's clear for me: Pacquiao is better than Bradley. I like Bradley more as a person and his style is good enough for me but that a different story. There's nothing left to prove here.
No it wouldn't. :-( Saturday night showed once more that boxing has huge problems to deal with. As we've seen time and time again. Big problem is also created on this site, with a couple of the Bradley backers (who probably had him losing as well) now acting like they were right all along despite it's obvious they weren't. Almost everyone lost Saturday... The public, the sport, Pac and even Bradley (in the ring). Only Bradley gets another (underserved) payday and belt out of it, and Arum silently laughs while counting his money and looking forward to more.
Nobody gave **** drinker a belt a few months ago now did they. Pac got robbed but also enjoyed a gift last fight. I dont feel sorry for him.
Do you mean the word 'if' I'm on a iPhone excuse and grammatical mistakes or any missed words, Right now everyone's blaming arum some are blaming arum PAC and Tim, But if Tim came out blamed the wbo, the incompetent judges and shift focus to the whole sanction system of boxing he could do a lot ( I'm thinking a bit extreme here), I mean he's not really viewed as a good guy now. That likeable personality has lost a bit of charm to neutral fans, If he actually did denonce his win and give the belts back image the headlines Although I don't thing any promoter do business with him again.
The decision is final, and unless there was foul play involved Bradley relinquishing the belts won't do anything.
Yeah to the wbo but what If he went against the wbo, they might not sanction him again but would look really stupid to keep the win, when the winners saying that's bull****
Do these fools live in the real world? Did anyone INCLUDING Pac ( even though he walked back to his corner head bowed in disgrace ) give Marquez his belt, and denounce his suspect win? Get off Pacs nuts ffs.
Sorry, I thought the decision sucked too, but what's done is done and giving the belts back won't erase the memory so, This content is protected
I'm a Marquez fan you ****, he got screwed and it was hard to watch, but with Marquez it was arguement ad populum. Only reason PAC got the nod was so he could fight may, think of all that money. Beyond that no one at large really fought his case, the Hbo team were all over like groupie sluts. Point I'm trying to make is if brad step up told the wbo to suck a dick told arum to suck one too, he would flip the game around on its head No more bull**** boxing is wwe, boxing end of an era artilces. This ain't about karma, cause in the record books it'll say JMM lost. It's bout what can be done to end the corruption.
