How can you possibly say there's no right or wrong way to train? That in itself is stupid.

Where did I say I know how to train a fighter? Where is this BS coming from?

You stated there is no right or wrong way to train. That is plain wrong. Not being a smart ass in the slightest.

BTW, there are a few other people other than me that don't agree with shadow boxing with weights...

Does anyone know a persona that has injured themself with this method ?

I know quite a few that hurt them selves trying squats and DLs for example, just a thought.

Also virus do you watch boxing yourself or are you just into training ?>

never see you talking the fights ?

I think virus just loves the banter to be honest. Its a great postition to be in when you have a bit of knowledge and people are talking in absurdities. I love reading the nonsense that people put sometimes. But someone always knows more... fortunately sometimes.

People need to think sometimes- thats the problem they just do without asking why... I'm doing something new at the moment- and I see why people don't ask... because they are blind. They cannot see the intricisies of what they are doing. Its only when a greater level of understanding comes that they start to realise what they are doing might not be correct and then its too late.

    New thread....

    what banter though ?

I never see the guy actually talking about boxing.

If you know more than new people about strenght training and conditioning or whatever would you go on a forum about a sport that you have no interest in (apparently ?),...over to their training section and countlessly tell people who are new to training or conditioning , why they are wrong and quote them line for line on a regular basis ? What's the point of this ?

That's why I was asking earlier if he watches the sport ?

I know that there is "lounge lizards" who post over there exclusivley, but that is kinda understanding as the topics can vary widley.

How many times can you say that "shadow boxing with weight is bad",
"fat cant be turned to muscle" before you go bat**** crazy ?

Now please don't get me wrong I like to chat with virus, especially about new training ideas and stuff and his opinion is a good one for sure, I just dont understand why he goes through with the above and I genuniley want to know if he watches the sport or no ?

Part of my warmup is a light shadowbox with 2 pound aerobic weights, then another round with 1 lb weighted gloves, and the last round with nothing. Speed feels amazing after two rounds with weights!
