How to beat Manny? 2 fights tell all!

    I saw rounds 8, 9, 11, and 12

    when Pac would throw those flurries he missed with a lot of those punches.. but when he landed it was a lot more authoritative. But bradley would throw punches (although insignificant) to the body, tie up, and throw his weak ass jab for the whole round....

    Pac didn't look very accurate when he was forced to reach.. and in one of those rounds he gets real frustrated and started just starts throwing all kind of back hands and wild **** while Tim held on for dear life..

    Ur right though i need to see the whole fight..It baffles me that Pac lost and the rounds i watched were close.

    From what i saw, it seems Bradley got rounds scored in his favor that wouldnt typically be given to a challenger..Usually close rounds go to the champ, who from what i saw, landed just enough significant punches to win at least 2 of the four I saw..

    No not really.. As a few people have stated if u cut off the ring and push the fighter to the ropes you can win looking good..

    Thats some fighters bread and butter you dummy

    Like i said the few rounds i saw the same **** happened over and over again.....

    I also watched those rounds with the commentators speaking in spanish (i dont speak spanish, so i muted it)....So i didn't have harold lederman telling me who is winning like you and some others..

    i never said pac lost (refer to the second post, or have your butt buddy heavyweight whaterver read it out loud for you)

    If you saw something different say that...

    Im judging on a limited sample size (because of this fight) but the JMM fight is included.

    There r no more reasons for this kinda threads - put Manny right now with Floyd and he won't do better than Cotto did.

    Duh! God gave the infidels the blue print to beat Pacquiao.Just move and counter him. Keep that distance and counter him. That's what Marquez and Morales did classic Mexican counter punchers that can also Brawl. Timothy with all the steroids in him can't fight toe-to-toe.He has to cling on in the torrid exchanges or retreat.

    I actually agree with TB not being in his class... But im really just wondering what made these last two fights so close and so controversial?

    What i pointed out was the backing up by both fighters cuz honestly TB doesnt measure up with JMM as a counter puncher..

    But the backing up tactic seems to have given both of them some success..

    I have to say, they're pretty stupid if they didn't anticipate Bradley fighting in retreat. Most of us idiots on this forum even saw it coming.

    But, like Outboxer has said, it does appear as though Pacquiao has been working on stepping to the right and cutting off the ring. It was pleasing to see him recognize the need to do this. Needs to apply it more regularly, though.

    bradley did the pernell moves, and pacquiao couldnt catch him with his left in the last rounds,

    Completley agree with thread (everytime I mention stuff like this, I'll say that Pac is my #1 ATG).

    First, it started with Clottey. Clottey hid behind his guard and Pacquaio punches it. He didn't look great, but dominated the fight.

    Second, Mosley. After Sugar went down, he ran away. Pacquiao looked bad trying to reach for him, and that step up in defence from just standing behind a guard made Pac look bad, but dominated the fight.

    Third, Marquez. JMM moved back, but was throwing some shots back. He managed to counter punch and also move back, which made Pac look bad.

    I don't think the Bradley fight showed too much, but look at the 3 above, and then think "Who moves back, counter punches more, and is the best in defence?"...

    It's the exact same as Nick Diaz Vs Carlos Condit really. Pacquiao looked amazing against guys who come forwards, and is almost unbeatable inb that. Hatton, Marg, Cotto etc., but when you have a stylistic fighter who makes an awkward fight of it, don't expect too much from him.

    That's why Pac-Morales 1/2 and pac-JMM 1/2/3 is a great fight. Morales brawled with Pac and Pac brawled in return , which made the fight so exciting. JMM boxed beautifully and Pac made it so hard to even the rounds, which made the fight agreat battle. We got used to these pacquiao fights that our expectation of a pac fight SHOULD be all an action fight, but when his opponents failed to do that, we diss pacquiao of not doing so well. **** happens
