No disrespect for Bradley now, but his reputation may be ruin due to this controversial decision. No one will buy a fight that Bradley is in. He should have handed the belt back to Pacquiao. That would have made him get respect and fans. All the punches he though (90 percent of them) were blocked by Pacquiao. You can watch this fight 100 times with or without the volume up, and Manny wins about 8 of the 12 rounds., Bradley has no career. I feel bad for him. All this work to get to this point to believe a delusion that he won. Here is a list of over 50 professional This content is protected people that watched it and what they scored it. 1. He won more money this fight than he has his whole career. He should be set for life. If he gets rematch money than he can lead a life of luxury. So I'm not sure how much his having "no career" will matter. He's better off health wise retiring early anyway.
Boxing experts and journalists : 49-3 Judges : 1-2 What are the odds? ...well in Norway pro-boxing is still banned...
You are right..it isn't Bradley fault but all the bragging he did leading up to the fight and mean mugging Pac during the weight-in....Pac was a gentlemen throughout the whole promotion and let his fist talk for him during the fight.
I thought Marquez nicked the fight, but that was a "close decision". . . Neutral boxing writers, and experts were pretty much split right down the middle. . .
Apparently he was doing the show for Top Rank. And he said as the decision was announced that Bradley won it in the ring fair and square....go figure. Under the hand that feeds, which is Bob Arum.
This is weak. Should've actually seen this coming. No Khan-Peterson (PED?) No Ortiz-Berto 2 (PED) then this decision. Hope Mayweather fights this fall. We need it...
This is the best thing that could of happened to Bradley. He just went from being unmarketable to marketable.
No they weren't, vast majority thougth Marquez won... some thought a draw... minority thought Pac won. But on topic.... this was a criminal decision as well, and i feel pretty strongly Arum is behind it to keep Pac under contract.
Out of all these "EXPERTS" how many of them have actually laced up a pair of gloves as professional or even amateur boxers? Probably not many of them, if any at all! But everybody claims to be an expert! None of their boxing "expertise" mean a thing. The only scoring that matters were the judges in the fight. I posted prior to the fight that this was an irrelevant fight anyway, because it's not like Manny was undefeated, and because Bradley wasn't a draw or even that good as a fighter IMO, though he's undefeated. But the fact is, Manny being the so called Pound for pound best fighter in the world should of done more that would guarantee a decision in hs favor. But when it comes down to it, Manny is not this great fighter, that the world make him out to be. At least in his last fight with Marquez he shouldn't have received that victory. When it comes down to it, even though I don't believe played a part in the decision like some people are saying, but Manny has yet to beat a formidable Black fighter (Mosley was washed up, when he fought Manny)
