Well said Marvin. The decision was a disgrace and anyone grown up who doesnt use words like " ***** " and " ******* " realises this. Marvin doesnt seem the type.

 

Well - irrespective of last weekend - He's right.

But who ever actually does anything about this?

 

state of nevada should ask maybe for a retired federal judge to ask questions to all that was involved.

if there's nothing, then they can move on into finding a better way to judge a fight.

 

Hagler is so full of ****. I mentioned once on here how he started out suing to get title shot, and would up best of friends with guy he was going to sue--Bob Arum. Once Arum started promoting him, he was his biggest supporter. I should mention I don't blame Arum for the decision, I think it hurts him. But Hagler is no honor student.

 

Yes - but there's a lot that can be done.

For example -

How about instead of letting everyone know who the judges are before the fight that they get three people rock up to the fight on the night so that promoters can't wine and dine and give them all the perks and - lets call it what they are - bribes - before a big fight to help influence the opinions?

 

Hagler's my fav fighter of all time, but sorry this is silly.

I mean, "Hello captain obvious."

How about a suggestion on WHAT SPECIFICALLy can be done? How about using your prestige in the sport to open some doors and make something actually change?

Stating publicly what every boxing fan has known for 50 years? Yeah, ok, thanks.
