I just bought some resistance bands and I've been looking for different ways to use them. I have to say I enjoy using them. I just find it fun. But I'm not exactly sure how I should use them. Are they better to improve speed, flexibility or endurance?

I was thinking of using them to compliment the workouts I do with weights. For example the days I do back and biceps, also use the resistance cables for back and biceps at the end of the workout.

All advices and useful information welcomed :good
    Thanks in advance!

I also just bought some, look them up on YouTube, so many things to do with them, great for days you can't make the gym.

Thanks for the responses. I have been looking for videos and articles on different work outs and how to use them. My main concern is what's it best for? I may be wrong, but I don't think they're the best strenghting tool. Are they better fitted for speed, or just to compliment your working out regimen with stabilizing exercises?

I think they are great for shoulder workouts, side and front raises are really only done with fairly low weights, I personally use 10-12kg when doing them but i'm finding it a lot harder with resistance bands rather than weights, It feels like i'm lifting about 15-16kgs.

For the guys who are into just aesthetics they are great to get a pre pump on before the beach, certainly beats taking actual weights in your case.

I'm not s fan personaly just feels off for me, but I have freinds who swear by them. You can really do about any work out with them and there are plenty of videos on YouTube of exercises you can do.

Good stuff guys thanks. I think I will mostly use them for speed, shoulder, and when on the road.

I'm a little dissapointed with the resistance cables. I was really enjoying them but it already broke

However, I think I'll just buy another one. Later on I'll probably order some resistance cables online which are supposed to be of better quality.

I saw the thread title to come in here and post Scrap's youtube channel, but he's already posted a few videos :D

I think I'll pick some up. I'll have a look around for some reasonably prices ones next week.
