good points for making a case for the other side when emmanuel was frustrated and begged Timmeh to trade, Timmeh wouldn't care and just continue to jab
Listeng ***. READ. I'm saying he had to LOSE BY ROBBERY. For this THEORY TO WORK. I don't even care if it is or if it's not TRUE. I'm just putting it out there. FACT IS he got robbed and I'm pretty damn SURE it was Arums FAULT and not his like you are saying. If he was in or not I could care less. I'm just saying what could be ANOTHER possibility.
like we talked about before pac is not good dealing with guys moving away. he needs them trading punches to be effective or standing there just blocking. when they start circling backwards he just follows and forgets/don't know to cut off the ring. if pac is behind or fight is close , he'll push. he'll keep coming. even if he looks stupid missing or if he gets countered. (marquez for example) but if he thinks the fight is in the bag , he just follows half ass and waits for them to stop or come at him. 1. because he's already ahead (like cotto or like he thought in bradley) 2. most judges ain't gonna score for the other guy if they're just moving backwards doing nothing anyway. 3. eventually they'll stop and engage him a little bit , which he usually wins.
yea he performed like a spoiled diva. His fans are angry about the decision, but many are also disappointed with his choices in the fight.
Pac wasnt in on ****. Pac fought a dumb fight period he let Bradley take control in the championship rounds.
saw an interesting stat that the majority of pac's punches landed in the last minute of the round...that could have led the judges to give bradley points for controlling the fight and the ring (RG) there were also round where he did dick all until the last 30 seconds or so, so his late flurries looked like he was just trying to steal the round
ehhh..... bradley didn't take control. at best he barely edged out a tired/lazy pac. tbh when i was watching the fight i thought he was just in survival , stay away from me mode. that's why he was throwing and missing so much. a lot of "please stay away" jabs. he did go offensive sometimes but to me it was more to save face like "oh i've been moving backwards too much , i'll do a low risk flurry so i don't look too bad." shane did the same thing. whether it's conditioning , age , stupidity or laziness. it was more what pac didn't do than anything bradley did. no offense to the kid , pacquiao can be schooled at times and can be beated by a good technical fighter but bradley ain't it. floyd definitely. jmm for sure can do it. bradley? nah....
that could be it too. plus overreaction from the jmm fight. stupid judges heard all the criticism from jmm-pac judging. so they went overboard the other way.
yea what fans ignore is that ring generalship is one of the scoring criteria. Fans all go by clean punching. I had emmanuel winning, but he was dely fighting Timmeh's fight. The judges must have rationalized it out to themselves for giving those rounds to Timmeh on the basis of ring generalship.
speaking of stupid judge's overreaction. i'm calling it now. 2nd fight will be closer than the 1st. bradley will do better than in the 1st fight. pacquiao will win a decision by a wide/blowout margin. (that's if pac doesn't get the ko of course which is possible) it'll be like lewis-holyfield. stupid scoring 1st fight. 2nd fight holyfield did well to make it more competitive but got blown out in the scores.
While watching the fight live I thought Manny had Timmeh rocked and ready to go. But once you realize he rolled his ankle I mean all those times I thought it was Pac had him ready to go could have been him favoring that ankle.
nah he was getting tagged too. tbh i saw nothing that he hurt his foot/ankle or whatever. if his corner didn't tell hbo , i doubt anyone would notice. plus he hurt his ankles when he got tagged. he got tagged , staggered all over the place , lost his balance.
