How well would Stevenson do against Froch?

Stevenson was KO'd by a .500 fighter and Froch would smell blood from the opening bell and destroy him, mismatch.

 

1st round KO Froch. Stevenson is like a poor mans Pascal except Pascal has a great chin and Stevenson's chin is non existant. Stevenson ain't ****

 

How well would Stevenson do against Bute would be a better question.

 

Superman would be KTFO by the Cobra, 10 times out of ten. End of story.

Adonis has big power, but he isn't knocking Froch out (nobody is, really).

He isn't going to outwork Froch and win on points. His style is more based around defending and looking for that big shot, whereas Froch is attack, attack, attack. Judges tend to prefer the latter. :yep

Unless he flat-out runs, he isn't going to survive Froch's attacks. He was legitimately bulldozed by Darnell Boone; he isn't standing up to the Nottingham terror.

Adonis with his athleticism and power can conceivably do well against anyone who doesn't have that Kryptonite trifecta of an exceptionally strong beard, very heavy hands, and a relentless untiring offensive-minded style. Unfortunately for him in this match-up, Carl has 'em all.

 

The Cobra would KO Stevenson quite early. He isn't slick enough to avoid his bull-like attacks and I don't think he could crack Froch's chin as well. He would just be a sitting duck.

 

Sounds like the last type of opponent Carl would want.
Too easy for the Cobra.

 

I'm not saying I would pick Stevenson to beat Froch, because I wouldn't. But to the guy earlier in this thread who said 'nobody is knocking Froch out' - Nobody is invincible. I don't care how great your chin is, guys like Stevenson have the power to knock ANYONE out.
