    .... still vacant.

The Ring Magazine along with their panel of over 30 boxing writers around the world decided to ignore the blind judges scoring in what they all say was one of the biggest robberies of our time. And isn't The Ring owned by Floyd's promoter?

"In the end, though, the Editorial Board decided to break from tradition and do what we believed was the right thing: Completely ignore one of the worst decisions of our time as it applies to Pacquiao. We left things as they were, with the exception of having Bradley enter the welterweight ratings."

I think it quite clear to anyone with any sense that floyd mayweather is p4p the best fighters in the world. Even the majority of Pac fans have realised this now.

How about Pac taking an official loss and Floyd still can't overtake him even with a win over Cotto? :hey

The Ring magazine's voting panel consists of 30+ boxing writers from around the world. Their consensus don't agree with you. :hi:

    I knew it.
I knew they won't let the bogus decision affect their credibility (unlike ALL of the *****s here at ESB).

This is why TheRing will always have my respect.

And the new...... :rofl :rofl :rofl *****s :rofl :rofl :rofl

I bet Floyd would be happy to hear this news in his cell if his lawyers would just tell him.

Why is this thread relevant? Most real boxing fans have Floyd at #1 anyway. Majority rules. They don't need The Ring's approval.

Ring Magazin CLEARLY hates Floyd and desperately trying to keep him out of the top spot. mutha****as clinging on to mannies nuts hard.

why in the world shouldnt Pac be demoted?

its hilarious how they want to aknowledge the Bradley fight being a robbery, but turned a blind eye to Marquez getting robbed last november. if they were fair floyd should been number one then.

they even ignore Floyds spectacular 154 lb performance against Cotto(e) compared to Manny looking like **** against a featherfisted 140 lb fighter that he "officially" lost to.

**** the ring mag. everyone else knows whos number one P4P and pacs time is almost up.

Floyd is P4P the best fighter in the world. However, Pac is Floyds most dangerous opponent. Make it happen already!

I think it's a wise decision from what was a magazine and now is one of Boxing's most prestigious references... I don't go along with most of "The Bible of Boxing" articles and analysis but they are definitely right on this concern. The mythical p4p rankings is for the experts who can master the differences from the Straweights Minimum to the Heavyweights and Floyd cannot be he p4p champion, not b'cause he's in jail, not b'cause he is not the msot complete fighter worlwide and considering in all divisions. Mayweather is not a fighter who is willing to fight on a regular weight class and in a regular time schedule throughout since he won the SWW title from ODLH. Pacquaio cannot get that position losing a fight officially and it would be absolutely offensive for Floyd to put someone else in there like Ward or Klitschko so it's wise to be vacant and Floyd is right on top of the rankings of those mythical rankings.
