Probably only Floyd (with the exception of being locked down right now and shriveling up like a pork rind). Heres why: Had a solid showing vs Floyd, is 3rd biggest PPV draw, has many non-arum opponents he can face that can potentially make good fights and has no obligations to anyone contractually--doesnt need Arum to "sell" him. Glad he's in this position. Hes made good money, and can continue to make even better money rather then be pimped out by Arum. I believe Arum was throwing him to the wolves in the 2nd fight vs Margo, thinking Margo would beat him and then he could corner Cotto into signing another contract since he would have potentially less options with a loss. So glad he chose to fight Floyd rather then Pac again. And if he does fight pac again, he can do it on his $$ terms. Otherwise he can just walk off into the sunset as a highly successful PR boxer. #arumisasnakeandisnowdyingofhisownvenom
I would agree that other than pacquiao and floyd (after his prison stint), cotto's in the driver's seat in terms of negotiations. there's no bigger star in boxing than miguel cotto outside of those other two, unless you consider the klitschkos, and that only exists within the heavyweight division, an entity in and of itself.
Pac too. But his prob is his association with Arum. No one will really know how much hes unethically taking Pac for until all the dust settles. Floyd and Cotto at this point, have no strings attached and can generate their own "shows" using GB as an aux promoter. And of course the Klits, are their own well oiled Euro machine that seem not a part of the mix due to their isolation from a strong US fanbase.
I expect Cotto against the Canelo Ortiz winner.. He might take a tune up first in the barclays center

Cotto of 2012 is a legit 154 lber and would murder there paq of 2012. But it doesnt matter, paq already turned down fighting a non weight drained cotto and for great reasons. He still might be sway able to come down to 147 for paq if the $$$ is right. But another weight drains cotto means nothing. Fight champs at their true weight classes. That would go a long way in repairing Paqs career. Floyd only fights people at thief best weights, why can't paq.
