If that was true he would of fought Floyd and Maravilla by now. Now Duran, that's a different story.

 

I have been saying this for some time now, its easier to fight a taller guy than a guy who is your height or shorter.

Very simple they have to punch down to find you, when you make them miss you create a much larger gap which gives you more time to fill the gap with a series of shots and by the time the bigger man resets your gone.

Floyd is not that tall infact there is about an inch difference why he hasnt fought sergio, has nothing to do with the height issue Pacquiao knows his limits a fight with Sergio is suicide

 

Dude was a Flyweight when he was a ****ing teenager before his body matured. He's been a natural JWW for several years now including his last few fights at 130 when he was rehydrating 13-14 pounds after weighing in.

 

I would say that Pac's most favorite type of fighter to fight is fighters on the decline.

 

Even at a catchweight? 150-154lbs? I said sometime ago Pacman would make 147, even 154 while many swore 144 was the absolute limit. *******s can go **** themselves I dont give a **** about them, but if he leaves Arum and Manny really is the fearless fighter I know he still is he does have a solid chance to beat Floyd or Maravilla. I don't understand why people making it sound impossible. Is it because Pacquiao would actually be an underdog and hasnt been one for years? FFS man Basilio and Duran were Pacman's size and facing middleweights. I really don't think they were favored to win in many fights up north. The real glory for Pacman is Floyd and Maravilla. Marquez was just a great fighter like himself he happened to stumble upon, but Pacman unlike Marquez has better qualities to be more successful in higher weight classes. Yes, I do think he's abit overrated, but many not just him are. Maravilla, Mayweather, and Pacman triangle will be competitive fights and by no means one sided. 2 legit opponents, 2 history making fights. Plus those 2 would have more to lose than Pacman and the pressure would be on them.

 

what do you think of Cotto(e) getting raped? He's Juan's height and likes to fight out of a semi-crouch. Lack of upper body fluidity?

Pac is the most overrated fighter in recent boxing memory. Margarito was done, Mosley was done, Cotto was coming off being brutalized by Margo and on and on it goes.

we've yet to see him against a prime big guy with decent speed. I think he likes slow fighters the best, size irrelevant.
