wlad has been at the top of the division for years, while bute never even made it to the top spot so really there is no comparison. also they have no similarities as fighters

 

Yeah, sure.. That shouldn't be held against a fighter, they have been given their neutral frame and build.. The only thing you can do is to use it as good as you can... Lennox Lewis, Muhammad Ali, George Foreman etc. Also had seize advantages over many of their opponents.

Bute is better. Bute was exposed once by a great fighter who is probably a future HOF-er.

Voidimir was destroyed 3 times by bums. Sanders was the best of the bums to destroy Void but he was not in any way a world level fighter. He only had 2 other big fights his entire career and he was KO'd in both. ****ing Voidimir up was literally his only achievement.

 

stupid thread, Wlad is ATG and undisputed heavyweight champion of the world who has a chance to beat Joe Luis' record for title defenses and Bute never became the champ. You might as well compare Wlad to Grant or Guinn.

 

Had the comparison been that they both looked incredibly good against agreeably poor opposition then you would have a point.

However Wladimir fighting cans isn't exactly by choice.

Still, I think it provides a decent enough example that you should factor in a fighters opposition when trying to evaluate them.
