    A little more compelling.

    The reversal would not be based on Manny's popularity, but rathere the sheer outrageousness of the decision.


    That said, I do not favour reversing the decision.

    Not at all. Overturning bad decisions would be a great way to root out corrupt/incompetent judges from the sport.

    If they had been doing it all along, I would agree. But starting so long after there have been thousands of "bad" calls, and having never even made an attempt to be proactive about it, is the wrong way to go about it.

    They need to address the issue going forward, perhaps even institute a "post fight review" policy for future fights, and let this travesty serve as a martyr. Otherwise it just looks like the sport is protecting their cash-cow.

    Scoring this fight 115-113 for Pacquiao is absurd, scoring this fight a draw is unfathomable..... Scoring this fight 115-113 Bradley is "Corrupt".

    The problem is that overturns have to start somewhere and if this fight doesn't have the juice to warrant it, the next bad call isn't likely to get overturned regardless of what "policy" is put in place simply because it's not likely to be as high profile. And the appearance of the sport protecting one of their cash-cows I don't think would get much controversy given how bad the decision is. If there could be a genuine case for Bradley winning the fight, it'd be a different story, but there is not.
