It was put together quickly to replace Rios. Less than a months notice and on HBO.

Don't blame the fighter on this one. Like I said, less than a months notice and exposure. HBO wanted a name I guess to fill that slot. Still a step up from Sigmon. Certainly not the fight Pavlik was hoping for but it only puts that back by about a month or two.

 

Way to ruin a ****ing fight date HBO. Hopefully it's an undercard bout. This should be ESPN. :verysad

 

When I first saw this fight listed.....I thought it was ESPN For HBO....the main course would of been better then the leftovers......to be on HBO Pavlik should be fighting Edwin Rodriquez

 

Just proved what I already suspected. You don't read threads before posting.

 

For those that can't be bothered to read. This is a hasty replacement to replace the Rios fight on the under card for the Donaire bout.

 

It should nooooot be on HBO. How many tune ups is Pavlik going to have?

This is all set up to keep Pavs out of harm's way, while waiting for Chavez to fight Pavlik once he moves up atsch

 

team Pavlik are morons!!! They coulda had Stevenson in a higher profile bout that would elevate his status to a legit top 10 SMW and give him a mandatory position. Stevenson is way lower risk/high reward than Rosinsky and an easier fight for Pavlik even though he'll almost certainly whup Rosinsky it will be harder than Stevenson and way less reward for doing so. What a buncha ****tards.

 

Next fight looks to be Chavez Jr. at 168.

 

Pavlik is somehow not doing something with his career.

He's been with Garcia for a while now, he should be getting ready for big(ger) fights?
