:good u may be a wlad hater but at least u use logic and factoids to drive home your point unlike these tools who just say "lewis tko 1" atsch as for your list. i think #1 and #4 are tied together. he needs more confidence to let his hands go and if he does that the knockouts will come. i really dont think #3 is an issue anymore. #2 seems to be secondary at this point to confidence. he needs to be tested again and forced to fight like he did in rounds 11 and 12 with peter.
You may be right, but I'm sure Wlad doesnt want to face another puncher like a Peter or Sanders, I think he's better served to call out boxer punchers and slick light punching fighters. If I was in Wlads management team, I would go after credible, but less threatening fighters like Thompson, Gomez, and Povetkin, and stay far away from fighter like Peter, Virchis, and even Valuev, who has underrated power IMO. I feel Wlad's biggest fear is getting hit, lucky enough for him there arent the great fighters, who can punch, like there was in the 90's.
I always thought that Lennox was way to over-rated, honestly. He fought some pretty shitty guys including an old ass Holyfield and Tyson. I think Wlad would beat him for sure. But I think a better match up would be a prime Tyson vs Prime Lewis...never mind, we know what would happen there....
he doesnt have that one great win over an atg in their prime. to tell u the truth, i always thought holyfield was overrated. but lewis' resume is extremely deep. lots of good fighters with various styles proving he could adapt to anything. the guy is one of the top 5 hws imo. lol. i go from defending wlad to defending lennox. only on esb atsch i disagree. he fought peter when he could have easily avoided it. brewster may have been past it, but he still had a punch. he wants to fight the best. unfortunately, there isnt much out there. valuev, peter, and povetkin would be the most tv friendly fights though. he would shutout chagaev in a very boring fight methinks. thompson is pretty decent but he has a very similar style to wlad without the top notch skill set. i think maskaev may be on his last legs. LOL! Valuev has 0 power! he couldnt crack audley harrison's chin with those feather dusters :nod
Lennox Lewis by very early knockout, possibly in the 1st round. Wladimir cant fight backing up, and Lewis would make him back up, that much is 100% certain. Lewis knows Wlad cant handle pressure, and would go right after him like he did Golota and Grant, and Lennox would make it a brawl, and he is too physically strong for Wlad, hell at 38 he was too strong for the stronger Vitali. I dont see how Wlad can even compete with Lennox, never mind beat him, and Im not a Lewis fan, more a grudged appreciation.
Kobe is God, Valuev does have power, he just dont always commit to his right hand. I think Valuev can show this type of power soon, especially against the right oppenent, like he did to barret a couple of years ago.
:good Right on. Window, no one takes your posts very serious because you always have your guy winning. You had Oscar defeating PBF and even had Sturm losing to Oscar. Why?? Because they're your guys. Not only that but you build up the guys they face as if they're supermen. I remember when Wlad fought Castillo, the light heavyweight that only had a couple of 10 rounders under his belt, as an awesome opponent, one to be feared You even had Oscar ahead of Hopkins before that body tap put him down. These guys on ESB aren't stupid and unknowledgable as you imply. You have a very serious ego problem Window. Your guy has to win no matter what. And now you have Wlad better than Lewis in almost every catagory. Your analysis does not hold water. And remove that Boxing Historian title from under your user name. It doesn't fit.
I posted a couple pages back how I thought the fight would go, but I'll reiterate...I just can't see this fight being as one-sided as people are making it considering each man hits well hard enough to KO the other. I still stick by my previous post that this would likely be a tactical affair that goes to the scorecards...I can't see Lewis being stupid enough to rush in for an early KO and leaving himself that wide open in the process. It's not as if we're talking about a guy who's never been stopped here in either case.
That was a really good post. I think that really puts the criticism that Klitschko is getting into perspective. We as boxing fans should be embracing the fact that we possibly have an All Time Great in our midst, yet we can find nothing but negative things to say. I would say that looking at his career since he came under Manny Steward, he has been more than impressive.
:rofl :rofl :rofl :rofl :rofl at this ****, I see WALD has won another fight and Windows in hype mode yet again. WALD has a better jab and defense than Lewis....riiiiiggghht atsch
Has always worked like this, always will Lewis was getting as much if not more criticizm when he was active/in his prime. Only towards the end of his career the general public finally warmed up to him.
Lewis KO by 6. Probably sooner. But that said you cant totally write Vlad off - hes fast and can bang aswell.
