atsch Oh is this the Hamster guy you're talking about? I am not him. He is not me. I am a black guy from Brooklyn New York named Jamaal. He is an old white guy with big glasses. :deal He does seem to be a proper boxing scholar though.:good
Yes. Close fight but he won. It was pretty much as I had predicted. Eddie would get off to a good start but his pisspoor activity would be his undoing. Just count the number of bodyshots Adamek landed throughout the fight. He threw combos all night whereas Eddie slapped his jab out and occasionally landed a counter righthand. That unfortunately won't win you the fight.
Similarly, I gave Adamek rounds 3, 5, 6, 7, 9, 11, and 12. I gave Chambers 1, 2, 4, 8, and 10. So looks like we swapped rounds 1 and 5.
I had Adamek winning 115-114. Chambers blew it when he let himself get outworked in rounds 11 and 12.
Most of the fight Chambers made Adamek look like he was standnin' on the pier waitin' for the ships ta come in.
Didn't score it but I didn't see either fighter getting hurt. Draw would be fair. I hate Chamber's posturing and making stupid faces though. So extra points to Ademek for that. Don't think judges aren't negatively affected by showboating or acting unprofessionally. Also Chambers was throwing flashy, roundhouse but weak-ass punches. Finally, I'm not gonna take Chamber's word that his arm was hurt. **** off and quit if you're hurt, complaining only makes me resent you more. Weak fight.
Chambers won this fight. 119-109? Come on, man, that is the DEFINITION of a paid off judge. That's one of the issues here....the insane scores by some judges that are so obviously corrupt. The other issue is this: how did you score the (many) punches that Adamek threw and that Chambers easily blocked? Did you score them positively for Adamek, with the idea that he was being proactive (ring generalship?) or for Chambers for having great defense? I say Adamek's punches were ineffective and Chambers blocking showed he was controlling the fight.
