One of the best chins ever. Razor Ruddock was heavyweights biggest one punch hitter in the early 90 s. He landed his smash clean several times against Tyson, without even wobbling him. No one else could have eaten that sort of bombs...
Hopefully I can track down that video on Youtube. I posted it once. It was one of the guest dinners with Tyson in England and he was asked about Ruddock and Tyson said Ruddock hit me so hard in the jaw that it broke my rib.

You saved me time. How did you find it so fast? You can hear those punches in the videos. You don't always hear punches in fights on video but those were blasting. I remember watching that first fight and was like WOW...the sound of both of them throwing. Ruddock's left was incredible: Fast and powerful. He threw it in a way where it could catch you blind when in close. A great one is at 2:57+....and you can see him sneaking in those uppercuts. [ame]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aUAG1bjht40[/ame]
Remembered specifically that Muhammad Ali was in the video title. I'm sort of a Tyson fan too. He was okay.
Yeah...just a bit. You wouldn't happen to have seen the post where I posted a Post-Douglas Tyson article where he was asked "what would D'Amato say about your loss"...would you? So many posts to go through and I deleted by "boxing favorites" where I kept my articles. :-(
I suck :-( I was trying to slowly get rid of this drug called "obsession with boxing research" so I thought if I got rid of the drugs, all my articles and videos, that it would get me out of the habit...after all, I've done it several times before and it worked...for a while...because it would draw me back in and I would start over again, building my folders back up atsch. I need rehab I don't want to mis-quote what he said. It was in the New York times or Post or something. Damn. Anyway, I'll do my best: He said something like, D'Amato would sit him down, basically yell out him for an hour or two on how he lacked this and that...and then he would say, **** it...you want some Ice-Cream? Eh. His words and story were much better. It made me laugh because my Father was just like that when I was growing up. It must be an Italian-American thing. both the yelling/scolding, and then asking if you want Ice-Cream.
