I think once Carl beats Kessler he will fight Ward again. Carl's said he would approach the fight with different tactics and he said he can beat Ward. Do you think froch will ever beat ward say if the fight was in Nottingham
Nope thats the answer but Froch has proved many doubters wrong but I just feel Ward has a boring and effective style which does not suit Froch who looks to walk people down and bring the fight to them and Ward is a crafty and clever fighter who will just hold on the inside. Kessler will be a huge brawl which I think Froch will win by split decision on another close fight but after that he can look at a domestic dust up with Groves or Degale. Or look to unifying by fighting Stieglitz who he would beat comfortably in my opinion or looking to step up to light heavy for Cleverly or Cloud
I do feel froch is the most exciting fighter we have right now. He proved so many wrong.(myself included) Many were saying Bute would be the first to stop Carl. What a joke that was.
Lads, let your imagination run. Froch settles the score with Kessler with a decisive UD, Ward agrees to come to Nottingham for a super-fight. Froch pulls out the fight of his life and give Ward something he never imagined possible!? It would be as good as it gets for me. (let me dream you realistic smegs!).
Let's make it a good dream ... Froch KO Kessler in front of the Nottingham crowd then goes on to first round KO ward :deal
Froch has no chance to KO Ward, he does not have the power to hurt Ward. Ward took a flush hook from Froch after bell when Froch hit him with one and he did not even flinch. Can't remember what round it was.
Wards not beating a weight drainned Chad Dawson. And people must remember, Ward basically beat Froch with only one healthy hand. He damaged his hand before he fight, and damaged it even more during the fight.
The only way I could have seen Carl winning was IF he fought the super 6 final in nottingham and but on the Bute type performance, maybe he'd of had a chance. But there is no way he beats Ward in a rematch, as Ward knows exactly what to expect.
No. The venue of the fight last time had nothing to do with Ward dominating and outclassing Froch from start to finish. The Kessler rematch is 50/50 for me though.
Carl is a warrior and will want the rematch. Can't see him ever beating Ward though, even in Nottingham.
Not sure i'd want to see it, even if Froch beats Kessler convinvgly. On the one hand, i'd love him to beat Ward, would be fantastic and a victory he deserves. On the other hand, i don't think he would and as just said; probably a boring fight either way. not sure where would be best for him to go after Kessler rematch though. Wouldn't like to see a declining version of him as a name on a younger fighter, such as Groves' or Degale's, record.
