Obviously if Chavez Jr. is not cheating, then there should be no problem, but it looks like like from the outside that there is something dodgy about him. I really think he should prove his critics wrong.

Besides there is weigh in same day right with WBC's new rules?

He wants to but... he ain't getting any younger, and needs the big pay day.

Beggars can't be choosers at the end of the day.

It's the sad truth of it all bro.

Martinez already backed down on the drug testing. He is begging for fights, he is in NO position to make demands.

Martinez has virtually no leverage in the matter.

    Jr holds all the chips.

Martinez the #3 p4p fighter in the world, and has to settle for just 30% split to Jr(as far as I heard).

Boxing is all about mind games. Fighters asking for this believe something is going on so refusing simply gets into their head making the believe you have an unfair advantage. If these are real issues they need to be fixed at the commission level, not on an individual fight by fight level.

Not really I don't know the facts, Just what has been put out.
    Which is all hearsay anyway...

I heard he pissed but AFTER the fight.
Seen both were wearing Grant gloves last night.
(Andy nor his team mentioned the gloves post fight so..)

I don't know man, do I condone he should get away with it just because I'm a fan... Noway.

I agree but it brings scrutiny on JCC Jr. in light of the recent steroid scandals and the glove tampering issues that have occured throught the sport's history. it makes you wonder.

I would like to see Sergio at least request for it. All Chavez has to do is either accept or decline. No big deal. It doesn't have to be a mandatory like Floyd has in the remainder of his fights. Chavez isn't likely to cancel the fight just because Sergio made a simple request. If he does postpone it then he's an idiot who just made himself look highly suspicious of using PEDs. Then again maybe Sergio himself is roided up which would diminish all possibilities of bringing up OST.

That last part is one nobody even thinks about as a possibility.
    Good post.
