they both did whatever they wanted against him, but I feel like floyd unleashed the full arsenal on gatti, essentially from the very beginning. he was putting a beating on gatti in and out, consistently, without many breaks in between. that was brutal.

I should have put an even option. i think Floyd laid more hands on him, but an Oscar left hook > Floyd's right hand all day IMO

Oscar hit Gatti with like a 18 punch combo to end the fight.

Oscar was much bigger and stronger than Gatti, So i find it less Impressive Than Floyd coming up in weight and completely dismantling Arturo in a completely one sided fight. But both showed he had no business in the ring with either and they were on a different level.

Floyd's beating was more painful, Gatti's eyes were slits by the end of that fight

I think Gatti hit Oscar with a hard clean shot that pissed Oscar off. Oscar may have been trying to get some rounds in.

I think Gatti took a worse beating from Oscar, but Oscar also took hard shots from Gatti. Gatti was hit more cleanly and more viciously by Floyd and Floyd never got touched.

The beatdowns were about equal but for some reason Floyd got a lot more mileage out of that win. Most people don't point to Gatti as one of DLH's better wins.

No kidding when you have Gonalez, Chavez, Quartey, Whitaker, Trinidad, Vargas, etc. on your resume.
