Carl Froch vs JCC Jr at 168

    JCC Jr is a huge MW and would have no problem fighting at 168. Who wins this war and why?

    After watching the fight the other night I was hoping this fight gets made, because I want to see Jr. fight someone that he can't bully with his size and that is actually stronger than he is. In other words, I want to see it made so that I can see Jr. get KTFO.

    I'll take Froch. . . He's not much small than him. . Not like the drastic difference we've seen between Chavez, and MW's. . . Chavez will probably have about 5 pounds on him come fight night. .

    But size notwithstanding, Froch LOVES a guy who comes in the front door. . He very good at countering, and boxing off the back foot, especially when the other guy actually has slower hands, and feet than him. . .

    Also, Froch has just as good of a chin as Jr., and even better stamina. . .

    Would be SUCH a great fight.

    Anybody who still thinks CHavez Jr. is busch league, and simply a "sideshow 'name' attraction" DKSAB. . . He's one of the best body punchers in the sport, and he has intangibles like size, strength, and chin that are also some of the best in the game right now. . .


    He's noticeably bigger than the top guys at 168 as well, but it won't be as drastic. . .


    A Chavez/Froch, or Chavez/Kessler matchup is mouth-watering. . .

    Froch does not have faster hands than Jr. He has better timing and is a better boxer, but he definitely doesn't have faster hands.

    froch is strong enough and big enough to keep chavez jr at the end of his jab most of the time. he would outbox chavez jr for the most part, in a tough, tough fight.

    So you don't think JCC Jr would be able to get inside and get to Froch's body? Froch isn't that great on the inside IMO and if JCC could get there he would give him fits.

    I want to see him at middleweight maybe 2 or 3 more times. Then I want him to move up.

    Say what you want but I think Chavez will be the better fighter of the two, this kid keeps getting better and better after every fight.

    Chavez will stay away from all of the top fighters at 168. His next opponent will either be Glen Johnson, Allan Green or J. Taylor. He's not going anywhere near Froch,Ward or Kessler.
