I don't see it so much as 'who wins' but more what round does Martinez close this up.

Martinez puts on a clinic and ends it 110 - 118 or by KO late (Chavez Jr does have a chin I think).

Chavez has a pretty solid chin, He is improving in leaps and bounds in every fight but he hasnt fought anyone of real note.... This may be his coming out party

Unless Martinez finally starts sliding given his age, i just don't see Jnr being about to mix with Mr Sexy.

Martinez , interesting to see if chavez has his gloves weighed and his unrine sample done before the fight . i reckon that is disgracfull he didnt have both of them things done before lee , it is blatenly not following rules and cheating , there should be somthing done about it.

    No one picking Chavez??
I think Chavez fights down to the quality of his Opposition.... I think he may lift for this one.

Chavez has a chance due to his big size alone...i think it will be closer than most believe.

Chavez could outweigh Martinez by over 15 pounds on fight night!!

I agree with Kegsy, this fight is by no means a walk in the park for Sergio.

I'm a big fan of Martinez, but I'm really warming to JCC jnr in recent times and his performances have been strong.

I love how he's stepping up and I love everything about this fight, the clash of styles, quite a bit of sting as both camps are really getting on each other and come fight night this fight will have a really energy about it.

    Can't wait.

    Totally agree.:good

Golden Boy better move their potential Showtime PPV - Canelo vs Ortiz match on the same date from the MGM, because it will do terrible business IMO (like Golden Boy's last 4 match Showtime card in June) compared to Chavez Jr. vs Martinez on HBO PPV.

Their booking Canelo vs. Ortiz and Ortiz ain't got through his upcoming bout!

Ortiz is light on the jam tart, we all remember the quit in Maidana fight. He didn't want a part of the Floyd fight once he was in there on the big stage and the headbutt was intentional in my opinion in order to get the **** out of there. The little **** for his headbutt effort got exactly what he deserved from Little Floyd.

Arum's got a locked in fight with JCC jnr and Martinez both wanting it and for mine, a fight I'd much rather see.

Yeah Id much rather see the Martinez/Chavez jr fight.

ill take Chavez jr to win this one aswell.
Actually Im looking forward to see what odds will be on offer,
Chavez jr wont let up on Martinez - he will pressure him until
he stops him and the straight right down the barrel will be there
    for him all night.

Im looking forward to this fight more than any in recent times.

It sure will be a sensational atmosphere.

Apparently Chavez Jr. vs Andy Lee last weekend on HBO drew 1 of the biggest ratings for boxing on HBO in some years.

HBO will want this ca$h cow to continue.
