How the hell is DeGale above Kessler?

Its very hard to take boxing rankings serious lately.

That's a big demotion for a guy who lost the title at his 10th defence to a (now) 3 time champ.

 

Wanna guess what race the top 3 are?

 

It looks like we might get a Stevenson-Bika match up after all. I think he's next in line to be offered the elimination fight on the Pascal-Cloud card and Bika probably accepts.

You sort of got the feeling that might happen since Dyah Davis was rated number 10, I think, and with Bika beating him all the IBF had to do was give Bika Davis's slot which they did.

I get completely confused by how some of these sanctioning bodies come up with their rankings. How can Froch not be ranked if he just beat the **** out of the guy at 5? How is Ward not ranked at all?

 

They don't recognise other bodies' title holders

Froch is ranked as 'Champ'

 

Its a really good fight and I think Bika wins, but I've picked against Stevenson once or twice lately and Stevenson keeps knocking people out.

All the people above Bika have been offered the fight(I think) and have turned it down. Now it should be offered to Bika and Bika has a history of fighting the best and this would be a nice oppurtunity for him. I really hope it all plays out and we get Stevenson-Bika on the undercard of Pascal-Cloud.

 

Stevenson clearly has speed and power early but for me he's one of those fighters that once you get past the first 3or 4 rds is vulnerable and much less dangerous. Sakio is awkwardly slick too with his defence and has a rock solid chin behind it.
