Drained??? But yet he fought at 130 after that fight and even won a belt there. Quit making excuses.

Ok, so if we're going to factor in MAB's problems going into the fight, then shall we do the same for DC - problems making weight and facing jail-term?

Or, we could just leave that nonsense to the side, and credit both guys for doing their job with what was put before them.

Tell me - did you see any of those signs of war when he was outclassing Naseem, taking it to Morales, outboxing Tapia comfortably for 12, and stopping Kelley in four, easy rounds?

Or did he suddenly become an old war-horse after Pac beat him?

Jail is no excuse. PBF just beat Cotto when he was being faced with jail so I don't want to hear it.:deal With that said Pac fought a fantastic fight against MAB I just don't think it was as good as PBF's performance that's all.

Well, likewise, I can say MAB's excuse of people asking him about his metal plate and moving training camp, isn't good enough. People deal with all kinds of stuff during lead-ups, why should his be excused? I don't wanna' hear it either :deal.

But yeah, fair enough, if you like PBF's performance better, then good on you. I can understand peoples reasons for liking that better. Boxing-wise, it was much better to watch than Pac destroying MAB.

My argument is that PBF faced a prime Chico and Pac didn't face a prime MAB. Even with that PBF's performance was better he dropped Chico 5 times and boxed beautifully an absolute flawless performance.

    Floyd's win over Diego Corrales.

At that time, I and many people I know really looked at Corrales like a small weight young undefeated George Foreman.

What Floyd did that night was an incredible performance. He showed the true "Science" of boxing.

I like Pac's win too, but just not as much as Floyd's.

He was also shorter and weighed less than Diego (on fight-night)

Not sure what Pac was giving up.

 Well, despite providing clear evidence proving otherwise, there's nothing more I can say about that.

    But, whatever.

pretty close.....both Barrera and Chico were highly ranked p4p fighter at the time, both Manny and Floyd were the underdogs.....Chico was more prime but Barrera was the better overall fighter.

Based on that I guess it comes down to performance in their respective fights so gotta give it to Mayweather for putting on the masterclass of the last 20 years.
