Does anyone know the details? The scores were unanimous, I know that much. I'm surprised...Hammer is inexperienced, and Johnson is a contender. Yet Hammer appears to have handled the more seasoned guy without much trouble.

    What's the story...the truth?

This is why I don't like these Prizefighter type formats. They only blemish the records of fighters and make it harder for them to get good fights. 3 rounds scheduled does not count as an official fight in my books. I love the idea of round robin tournament, but not in the Prizefighter style. The Super 6 tournament was awesome, but it takes forever to finish.

It works both ways. If you win you have improved your record massively in one night!

Prizefighter is not rocket science - you have to be busy in every round, regardless of how good you are. You can't afford to give away rounds waiting for a counter.

He should still pursue a fight with a British heavy - he talks a lot of smack which is attractive for a promoter looking to sell tickets.

    David Price anyone?

Tor Hammer is just a bad ass name for a heavy weight. Thought maybe he might be able to do more by now.

Hamer was just smarter last night. Definitely more ring intelligence than Kevin "Not too bright" Johnson. Kingpin was just too lazy, not throwing anything of substance.

Hamer should get himself some proper management and he could become a top 25 contender that may get better paydays.

    But who cares about that.

Its a fun night of boxing that offers something completely diiferant.

I with they could chould all top 10 fighters into prizefighter events.

Looked sharp and slick and dominated Johnson with counters. Johnson looked surprisingly tired going into this fight and Hamer sensed it and controlled the fight with movement and traps. Hamer seems to have a very high ring iq and wasn't afraid to mix up his style for each opponent. He utterly destroyed the awful Tom Dallas in true Iron Mike style.

Judging by his performance last night he seems to have a style similar to Chambers.
