    June 20, 2012, Las Vegas,Nevada --- Undefeated Jessie Vargas, a 19-0-0 welterweight from Las Vegas, today signed a promotional contract with Top Rank. Bob Arum made the announcement today. Vargas is managed by Cameron Dunkin.

    I'm not sure how good Vargas is or will be. However since he was with Mayweather Promotions before. Score one to Top Rank.

    He's so dull that I couldn't give a crap about him. Every fight he's in looks like a public sparring session. I'm usually the first one to ride a prospects band wagon (heck I start a lot of the bloody bandwagons) but...no, just no.

    coming out of the Mayweather camp I expected some technique but he isn't slick at all. Boring fighter who hasn't had one memorable fight. Signing with Arum was just the last nail in the coffin.
