Thor Hamer looked good and congrats. Could be the next big thing?

He has a catchy name, good promoter, skills, a good style and he is a very bright dude.
And he is humble.
I will keep my eye on him.

 

Thor's Hammer needs to work on his PR skills, because he came off like a complete dickhead with a giant chip on his shoulder in the interview after he won Prizefighter.

He's not big enough yet to bite the hand that feeds him.

 

If you Google his name, Google actually assumes you meant "Thor's Hammer" and needs to be corrected.

"No, no, I'm looking for Tor Hamer, the as yet obscure American heavyweight boxer..."

Maybe that will change as he raises his profile more.

Then again, most likely not.

Boxing isn't mainstream, and - come on...there are never going to be more searches for this guy's name than for ****ing Mjolnir. (which most people are too lazy to remember by name, hence "Thor's Hammer")

thought johnson was better but just showed zero desire hunger or workrate...

 

back wen i used to train in gleason i used to see him all the time
he gets good training his trainer is always working on something new and he get great sparring
i believe his still learning and is enthusiastic

If Johnson wasnt such a lazy **** he could of beat him last night.

As a sidenote, the relationship between Matchroom Sports and DiBella Entertainment is developing rather nicely. The Martinez and Barker fight was apparently booked through Twitter (or the beginnings of it were), Eddie Hearn seemed to reach out to DiBella to get Hamer to compete in Prizefighter and he also (I think) has spoken to him about putting Randall Bailey in with Kell Brook. It's good to see promoters getting along. Wouldn't mind seeing them fight - they're both pretty big in their own way haha. Hearn is bigger (well, taller) than pretty much his entire stable!

 

In one night, Hamer went from being behind Deontay Wilder as a prospect to being ahead of Wilder.

He might not be the next big thing, but at least Hamer will face someone with a pulse before his 25th fight. Take note Deontay.

 

Can anyone tel me why Tor Hammer kept pulling his pants down so part of his butt crack was showing for the whole fight?
