Did arum one up floyd with signing vargas ???

    floyd rarely yaps about fighters or gives them props....but when he does, it's usually his boys like jesse vargas....well now arum gots a hold of the kid and seems that floyd gots somewhat of a hold on gamboa.....

    gamboa is a chinny **** who will get that 0 taken away any day now, while vargas is improving with every fight......


    did arum put one in floyds ass with this move ???

    Nope, because Arum knows Floyd is making the ultimate power mover negotiating with Manny and schooling him to by out his contract behind Arums back. Which is why Manny got disciplined in the Bradley match

    Gamboa is still a TR fighter.. Bump this thread if he ever gets out of his contract.

    No, because Gamboa's upside is far greater than Vargas's. Or so it would seem. Gamboa has special ability, although he's vulnerable. Vargas is vulnerable as well, but far more ordinary.

    But anyway, I'm not entirely convinced Gamboa is gonna end up with Mayweather Promotions anytime soon.

    vargas can easily catch up to gambo though, as far as following.....gamboa is losing fans while jesse is gaining.....and plus, he's mexican......put a title around that kid and he'll be worshipped :lol:

    Seen nothing to impress me particularly with Vargas wheras I have been very impressed by Gamboa. I'm afraid you have it mixed up!

    No. Vargas is a boring **** that no one gives two shits about.

    This is good since now we wont have to see him on GBP undercards which are for the most part good. Vargas wont be missed at all.

    It's a Arum backup plan...
    He lost Margarito, Cotto Ect... This year.
    Manny is almost out the door, Arum is building a new stable.

    Vargas is a crapshoot

    Arum is a ****en idiot, he should have invested alot more with Gamboa, he put his chips on lopez coz it was less work since he is rican and BAM! He got ktfo, now this lil vacation might affect gamboa and who knows what becomes of him when in fact he could have been the next exciting star. With the right promotion he could have been hot right now, Floyd did more with Gamboa with no fights than Arum this whole time hes had him.

    I don't see anything special in Vargas. He lost to Lopez. I was watching this one without the sound in the bar and he got outworked
