    **** Comparison by a true moron .

    (the moron is you btw)

The only scenario which I will give respect to VITALI
is if you find a god damn time machine

and drag out a close to Prime Lennox Lewis

and let current Vitali fight him now. If current Vitali tko6 a close to Prime Lennox Lewis. I will say he is top 20

    THE FACTS

Vitali took the fight on just 10 days notice.

Vitali was clearly winning the fight 4-2 on all 3 scorecards at the time of the controversial bull**** doctor stoppage. Lewis barely survived the 2nd round and almost got KO'd, he was out on his feet, badly hurt, holding on for dear life, wobbling everywhere and staggering around the ring like a drunk. Lewis was badly hurt several times in the fight and was getting outslugged, outworked, outmuscled, outclassed, outlanded and outboxed by Vitali.

    punches landed

    Vitali 156

    Lewis 102

Lewis was exhausted, worn down and hurt from the accumulation of punches and was ready to get KTFO again, he collapsed onto his stool at the end of the 6th round, Vitali was clearly the fresher of the two, he would've KO'd Lewis for sure if the fight had continued.

After the fight, Vitali intimidated the **** out of Lewis and made him look like a *****. The whole crowd cheered for Vitali and booed Lewis.

    Lewis promised Vitali a rematch.

Vitali destroyed Kirk Johnson in 2 rounds and called out Lewis again in the post fight interview. The gutless coward Lewis retired shortly after that fight.

Lewis turned down 40 million dollars for a rematch and retired like a coward because he knew he would get destroyed by Vitali.

Vitali dominated Lewis and scared his ***** ass into retirement.

George Foreman: "Vitali was winning the fight. Lewis got lucky. There has to be a rematch!"

Jim Lampley: "A lucky escape for Lewis who was clearly losing the fight"

Even Emanuel Steward was upset and pissed off at Lewis for blatantly ducking a Vitali rematch.

Lewis is scared to death of Vitali.

    More FACTS

Everyone knows it was a controversial bull**** doctor stoppage.

Vitali got robbed. The corrupt doctor and ref were on Lennox's payroll.

It should've been a TD win for Vitali.

    Official Scorecards

    Pat Russell: Vitali 58-56

    James Jen-Kin: Vitali 58-56

    Tom Kaczmarek: Vitali 58-56

    Sky Sports: Vitali 58-56

    HBO: Vitali 58-56

    Lennox's mom: Vitali 58-56

Vitali wasn't even in his prime yet.

Lewis was still in his prime at 37. He was coming of the win over Tyson. In the post fight interview Lewis said "I'm like fine wine, I get better with age"

Before the Vitali fight, Lewis said "I'm at the peak of my powers, I will keep fighting for many more years"

Vitali whooped his ass, dominated him and scared him into retirement.

Vitali and Wladimir have both easily surpassed Lewis.

    1. Does this logic apply to any other fighter as well?

    2. In boxing it is rather common for the loser to earn more money than the winner.

What about a supposedly great fighter whose resume consists mostly of opponents who retire after fighting him. It could be argued that his opponents were so old when he fought them they couldn't continue anymore with their careers.

vitali's resume is a joke. the fact that that bum sosnowski even got a shot speaks volumes. kj is a lazy **** and did nothing to earn a shot either. Vitali's best wins don't even match Lewis' 15th best.

Shaunster said it best " His career defining fight was getting his faced turned to mush against Lennox Lewis. He's a good, decent champ - but you guys go embarrassingly overboard with your rating of this guy. His resume is very very weak for a fighter who gets rated so highly, and there's ALWAYS an excuse to justify poor performances against fighters a true ATG should be demolishing. 'He never came to fight', 'He hurt his arm', 'He didn't want to knock him out in front of his countrtymen', 'He prolonged the fight for the advertising momey'. "

Vitali will be remembered as decent champ and that's it!! Floyd Patterson level as far as his placement on the ATG heavyweight list goes.
