According to Jim Lampley, the winner of Tua-Moorer was supposed to fight Wlad next. What happened and what would have happened if Tua and Wlad fought?

Also, did Tua develop an over dependence on the left hook? If so,did this stop him from being as good as he could have been?

Lampley talks about Wlad vs the winner at the beginning of the video below.

I don't know about Tua and Wlad, but it is common knowledge Vitali ducked most of the 90's, his fans like to say he was green. But he was a champion and had 30 fights already by 2000...

If they fought, Wladimir would have been knocked out at that stage of his career.

I tend to agree with you. Wlad wasnt as cautious back then and Tua would smack him.

i like to think that if tua got a chance at wlad.....

that it would look like wlad vs. brewster.

i would hate to see it look like tua-lewis.

Tua lost to 3 Wlad victims (Byrd, Barrett, Rahman)

Wlad dominates any version of Tua.

A shitload of 90's HW'S called out the kBros in the late 90's and early 2000's.

The Kbro fans love to just forget about that and pretend they 'emerged' after Lewis retired. The truth is they could have gotten fights with Tua, Tyson, Ike, Holyfield in the late 90's early 2000's.

Ike and Vitali was definitely talked about before his prison stint, the Vitali camp didn't even considered it.

Tyson for sure called out both Kbros, I can link the source too. It was during the Mccline fight and Tyson was in the audience.

I'm not saying a shot Tyson could have even beaten a early 2000's Version of Wladimir, but it is what it is. They had plenty of chances to shine against the former era, they never took it.

If Wlad had beaten Sanders.. Lewis would have been next. He failed.
If Vitali had beaten Byrd. Holyfield or Lewis would have been next.He failed.

It's only their own fault they didn't win the tune ups to the big fights.. (tbh this is a good thing from a Klithscko perspective because they would have lost brutally at that stages of their respective careers)

Instead of a tko6.. it would have been a tko3.

    Wlad was poisoned.

Brewster was getting destroyed in the first fight. He doesn't deserve any credit for beating a poisoned Wlad.

In the rematch, Wlad dominated every second of every round and made Brewster quit.

Tua TKO'd Rahman and had a draw with him,he never lost to Rahman. Also Tua fought prime Rahman and Wlad fought old shot Rahman. Tua was old and fat when he lost to Barrett so that doesn't count. Byrd also beat Vitali so he must be a good fighter.

Barrett is hardly in his prime either. Going into the Tua fight he'd been stopped by about 4 prospects in the preceeding couple of years
