    jones toney

jones was way beyond cool that day against the best infighter that division ever saw. It was like he'd just stepped out of the Matrix movie.

    Lemieux vs Rubio

Perhaps not the most prominent fight, but for me that was the epitome of what makes boxing great to watch. Lemieux came into the fight a big favourite. (25-0 with something like 90% KO ratio) He butchered Rubio for the first few rounds.
You probably would have got 50/1 odds on Rubio winning after rd 3.
Then slowly the tide started turning as the jourmeyman Rubio weathered the storm and came back to win purely on heart, experience and determination.
Proof that you can be outgunned in almost every department but at the end of the day it is character that makes a fighter great.

Hagler-Hearns for me. I know some people say it's overated
If you watched it 1985 CC live it was the best fight ever
The buildup was huge and the fight was three years in the making
The drama with both guys hurt in the first,Hearns hurt in the second, the possible cut stoppage in the third and finally the knockout
The fight was a complete blur
