If you was a professional fighter and you knew your next opponent was juicing . . .

Would you also use PEDS to level the playing field?

Let's say you're a professional fighter and had always been clean. As you're climbing the rankings you're matched against your toughest opponent to date.

Then someone comes to you with pretty convincing evidence that the guy you're fighting is using PEDS for strength and endurance. You know this means this guy is going to have unnatural strength and conditioning.

    - do you fight him clean and risk losing and suffering damage as you tire and he remains strong?
    - do you decide that you want to even the playing field by ensuring you're just as strong and durable as he is?

I would honestly try and have him exposed or I wouldnt take the fight untill he took the test. No way would I personally ever take PEDs, even in that situation. that stuff can cause you serious long term physical harm.

I voted no. Simply because I would expose them as a cheat before the fight. Plus that way I stay clean my reputation isn't ruined and I win fights fairly like a true professional.

I can live with loosing knowing I gave it my all.
I could not live with myself knowing I'd cheated and needed a ped to become a better fighter.

If it's top of an HBO PPV card,I don't want to spend my time with the taxman on my case thinking "if only"
Most PEDs are geared towards recovery whilst training,I'd hope I had the boxing brain to outsmart him on the night.

And if I lost,I'd kick up **** and ***** until the day I died.

    I'd probably:

Taking PEDs to level the playing field, would be the last thing I'd do. There's no going back from that. Once you've had a taste of it and have put in a performance with its benefits, you'll be more inclined to go back and stick with it. Then, when you fight someone who's not using PEDs, you will be a straight-up cheat.
