Is Chavez Jr better than Matthew Macklin and Darren Barker?

Barker is the best athlete of the bunch, in my opinion. But neither man seems to have the strength and durability of Chavez. So, "better" as a total package, I do not know. I don't believe he's yet proven as skilled or adjustable as Macklin or Barker but he may prove a better package, even if not.

 

I think Martinez is the only other middleweight that could really hurt a balooned up Chavez Jr., so i think the size/strength/durability of Chavez would be too much for both.

Probably. Both are better skilled, but Chavez is more durable and tenacious, and is the better drug cheat.

 

Not a big fan of Chavez but I think hes better and more of a threat than Barker and Macklin. But funnily enough I think Martinez will end up having an easier time with him than he did them.

I would favor Matthew and Barker but with the size advantage and strength that Chavez has i wouldn't be surprised if he wins.
