Chavez Jr vs Carl Froch at 168 - Who wins?

    Chavez is essentially a Super Middleweight using diuretics to cut down to middleweight. He has already failed one test for the diuretic Furosemide, which can help you increase your urination to 6 litres per day. He has subsequently fought once without any testing at all, and then had complaints made about his most recent fight where there were reportedly 6 people in the bathroom with him while he took a urine test.

    Completely unrelated, his promoter has no stake in the 168lbs division, and it's a division stacked with tough, quality fighters.

    I'm not saying the two have anything to do with each other. I'm just saying . . .

    Chavez Jr outweighs Carl Froch on fight night by about 7-8lbs. There's virtually nothing in their height, but Froch has a small reach advantage.

    Froch would repeat what he did to bute but in maybe less time. Chavez Jr's main advantages would be void against anyone his size.

    It would be man versus boy.

    - Froch adopts Chavez and becomes his new Daddy.

    - Kessler beats him like he caught him peeking at his mother.

    - Bute scalps him and uses his hair as a wig.

    - Ward clowns him so bad they take Chavez Snr out the hall of fame.

    Even Dirrel goes 12 rounds without throwing himself to the floor :deal

    Forch is too big too strong and carries too much power for Chavez to pull the same strategy he did vs lee. Forch 2-1 favorite in my books

    I think Froch is on a completely different level to Chavez. The difference in weight would be negligible in IMO. Froch comes in at what 175lb? Chavez 180? OK. Bute came in at 180+ probably as much as 183lb on fight night and guess what? It didn't mean ****. Froch is one of the strongest most rugged guys at 168. I don't know why he's so strong either, he just is. Natural strength. No one has bullied the man. Not even Kessler who is clearly a strong guy. Abraham was stronger than Froch but he's built like a brick **** house.

    Chavez comes at Froch as usual. Froch uses that awkward jab of his to offset Chavez's rhythm. When Chavez realises that Froch is basically laughing at his punches he will doubt himself, ease off and be promptly be destroyed. Different levels. Froch is a solid A- level fighter. Chavez is a B level fighter. A good B level fighter but not in Froch's league. And as for Chavez-Ward. A complete embarrassment. Ward is an A or A+ class fighter really. He is a Floyd Mayweather level in the future. He just needs to crack a bit more - he muscles his punches too much.

    Anyway war Froch. Bring on Kessler for another great fight.

    Jr's gonna dance on him, and be eating Carl's lunch at midpoint.

    I like the fact that Froch keeps his hands up nowadays, but by the time this comes around Chavez will be a stud.

    By the time they fight Chavez is more experienced and full sized super middleweight with both a strength and youth advantage. Great fight, Chavez by late TKO.

    Froch dominates Jr for most of the fight, but like in the WWE Sr reaches in the ring and holds Froch's feet while Jr lands the right hand money shot. Chavez Jr ko 9 Froch
