A clissic match-up we never got to see Freitas-Valero at 130.

Both guy not really an example of boxing finesse, but at 130, both packs a wallop to turn a fight with one shot.

Who do you have on this match-up that has the "who lands first wins" written all over it.

I won't be too hard on Freitas though, against Jorge Barrios, he bared his soul that night and pulled it out with one of the best right hands he has thrown.

    Although I favor Valero too.

Valero beat who exactly? NO ONE!!! Mosquera and Demarco ain't **** compared the the scalps Popo has accumulated. Freitas is a legit top 10 ever at 130. Gotta go with the guy that's proven and not the mystery like that piece of **** Valero.

    no bias here :patsch

freitas has alot of garbage title defenses of the wbo, his "win" of casa was questionable...
he has quit on his stool 2 times

besides barrios , what other monumental win makes his so great?

valero would have knocked him into a coma

That's the reason I placed it here.

It's a compelling match-up because both guys are actually not that elite. :D

Nah Freitas was pretty past it by the time Valero came onto the scene. To put it in perspective He was at his best around when Corrales and Floyd, etc. were at 130.

Valero stops Freitas in the mid rounds of a classic war.
