Not too excited about this fight, but do want to watch it. I wish GBP would move the date, even if just to Friday the 14th. What better for boxing than a full weekend of big stars in the ring?

TR and GBP could play smart and put canelo in junior mtnez undercard, will tremendously bust the sells and everyone is happy.

GBP is hell bent on putting Canelo in there with a Southpaw. Kirkland, Williams, Ortiz, now Trout. This can't be a coincidence. There's an inordinate amount of top level Southpaws at 154. It's only a matter of time before a guy like Martirosyan or Lara become Canelo's mando.

To say the least. I wonder if Golden will stack the undercard to make it a bit more compelling. Because as it stands, the Top Rank PPV is infinitely more interesting.

Not to mention Quintana as well. He did really good against Rhodes, so it doesn't seem like the stance bothers him too much.

Well Trout is a pretty good defensive fighter, but rather boring from what I've seen. I wouldn't be surprised to see a slow paced fight with neither guy really willing to push the action. However I won't be watching it at all if it overlaps with the HBO PPV. I still think GB should move the date. They lost this one, Arum won. But they will not give up or back down. It stinks for fans big time. All because their egos are too big to say **** it, lets move it, it would be better for everybody involved.

Trout has too much speed and movement for alvarez.
