HBO, Lampley may be biased, but his commentary is exciting.

HD Definition and Slow-Motion is better as well.

Its called reading from a script!

Exactly! Its called expertise! Knowing what the hell is happening and likely to happen as the fight takes its flow!
    Proffesionalism!

:lol::lol::lol:Try again Tazo! I'm sorry, but every analyst HBO now has are puppets to an agenda led by Jim Lampley that every other broadcaster at HBO is paid to follow.

If you followed HBO's broadcasts long enough, the bias is'nt just in Pacquiao fights.
There was bias from top to bottom way back in the Chavez vs Taylor fight.
It continued in virtually every DLH fight.

Lampley and Co. literally would lick MAB's ******* clean in the broadcasts of the his trilogy with Morales.

The list goes on and on.
If you're a hardcore boxing fan knowdays that knows what goes on in a ring without the help of a commentating team, those clowns at HBO get no respect from any boxing fan with an ounce of knowleadge.

"Superior production quality and the more exciting commentary."
Absolutely, but if you want to go there, the WWE surpasses that type of quality by a landslide.....and I've got news for you, their events are staged!:deal

    showtime has much better fights....

hbo hypes up the fighters too much and then they disappoint.

    :deal

showtime n its not even close i been saying this for years.
    lampley sucks
    merchant sucks
    ledermen alright
    kellermen sucks
steward is actualy getting better i like more and more as of late
roy jones jr is the only good one

n there extremely bias and hbo shows mostly top ranked wrigged bs from arum

showtimes has had way better fights through out the years and commentating is pretty damn good not bias tells it like it is.

SHO has been quietly solid and steady for the past few years now. They aren't as big as HBO, but putting out a better product of late.

I wouldn't call HBO commentating superior quality. Stewart, Kellerman, and Lampley do a lot of nuthugging. The only thing spectacular about HBO production quality is that a lot of the big fights end up on HBO.

The HBO commentating just needs to talk about what's happening in the fight, they need to stop talking about how great X fighter is. It really is annoying. Sure they can talk about something off-topic once in a while, but not frequently.

Hbo's product is getting worse. Way too much nut hugging for the star fighter. Lampley is a legend but he's been bad of late.

Showtime by a mile. I can't stand HBO commentary unless Roy Jones is on.

Al Bernstein, Steve Farhood > Jim Lampley, Harold Lederman.
