Andre Ward vs Gerald McClellan

I am gradually warming to Ward as he has started to fight more than spoil and foul but the G-Man was a ****ing beast. I can't see Ward having the power to keep McClellan at bay and I damn sure don't think his Chin would hold up against those bombs. I can't reiterate enough what an animal he was at his best and it is a shame that the blood clot wasn't caught before the Benn fight because he could have gone on to truly epic things.

 

Gerald McClellan when he boxed was hard to beat.

The McClellan that fought Benn, I would favor Ward.

 

Mccllellan will casket Ward

 

McClellan was overrated as sin.

Ward all day.

 

If Ward had a better chin, I would certainly favour him over Gerald.
Trick to McC was to make it past the 6th and you're home free, but Ward wouldn't make it I think.

 

G-man has a puncher's chance, but the smart bet is Ward by UD.

 

Nobody beats Mclellingham

 

Ward easily on points for me.

Gerald was decent but Nigel Benn is also a level below Andre Ward.

 

Mclellan would scare the **** out of Ward and knock him out by the 5th.

 

Ward is superior technically, has more dimensions and has better defense..

Tough fight to call but Id slightly favour Ward 55-45

 

Even with a blood clot in his brain and a horrid ref allowing Benn to cheat like a mother****er he was winning that fight by a huge margin.
