Why won't Top Rank and Golden Boy put on a super card?!?!?

Seriously!? Think about how many buys a Canelo/Ortiz and Martinez/Chavez card would do on Mexican Independence Day. I think it would do Floyd or Pac type numbers, but bitter old Bob and stubborn Oscar will never get past this promotional rivalry or whatever it is with these two. They are like boxings odd couple. I blame Bob more than Oscar/Goldenboy just because Bob has proven that he ONLY cares about the bottom line, nothing else is more important......oh, except not doing any business with Goldenboy. Now they will have to be happy with whatever buys they get because they will be competing with each other instead of cashing in on a great opportunity and just splitting the money down the middle.

No casual fan is spending $100-$120 for these two fights in one night. At least not enough to maximize their profit if done seperately.

They can barely do one fight togehter...let alone a whole card....i wouldnt let these two pick teams in a fund raiser pick up basketball game...we would never get started....probably argue over who gets to pick the charity the money goes to!

Well....yeah. My point is that more casual fans would be willing to fork up $60-$70 for a great card as opposed to choosing one or the other. Most fans (like me) will just watch online so I can watch both and keep my $100-$120. You know that one combined card would get more buys than if you add the separate cards buys together. :deal

Because they can move them to different dates and make more money than if they co-promote.

because putting on a super card won't make then any more money.

if it makes them more money , they would do it.

beucase they can make exponentially more money from putting on their own "in-house" pseudo-super cards 3-4 times a year.
