If you’d have told me Khan, 7 or so rounds later, would go up a weightclass to win a world title from one of the best technicians in the division, I would have laughed. His transformation under Roach in such a short span of time, was impressive.

 

agreed. You couldn't even say he's being carefuly guided, he's fought nearly every type of style out there to silence his critics.

Although there are still a few more.

 

It's funny from reading the posts here and to think he has won 2 (perhaps soon to be 3) world titles and beat the most feared puncher in the division above and took his best shots and survived

he come back good from this, you have to credit his spirit and heart.

 

It doesnt matter. Some morons on here, just like to cling to the fact that he got KO'd 4 years ago, when he was 21, and fighting at a weight he shouldnt be at.

The fact that hes fought bigger punchers and infinitely more talented fighters at a higher weight since then is completely lost on them.

 

yeah, i've just grown to find them more amusing now than anything. . .

at first, when i still wasn't sure whether khan would recover, i was a little hostile, and defensive. .

but now, i just sit back, laugh, and point at khan's body of work. . . and his continuance to only want to fight the best. . .

I'm pretty sure now Prescott doesn't want a piece of Khan. By the way who was Khan's trainer in that fight?

 

If I remember correctly it was like some random cuban that no-one had ever heard of and fled the country as soon as the last bell rung, I think he was something Rubio. :rofl
