^skipped to the bottom and read "pound for pound hardest puncher of all time". Guess I can skip the whole article because if that's the conclusion the rest is a joke.

    Thanks for sharing though.

You couldve learned a little about a legend but why bother? There have been plenty of flyweights thoughout history who knocked out guys 14lbs heavier :!:

Stick to trolling & starting **** threads on subjects you have zero knowledge of but your obsession with Britian isnt healthy.

most top 20 atg p4p boxer's have records with 200 fights or so when basicly 150 fights of the were sparring sessions with guys who have 3 wins on their record.

thats why I rate guys from today higher than boxers from 60 years ago.

Brittards? I think you'll find many of the American historians and critics over the decades have Wilde right up there.
You mention losing records do you know anything? You don't even know about your main source of knowledge Boxrec.

Anyone who goes onto BoxRec and constructs arguments solely off that has a very flawed logic. Wilde is a true ATG.

The skill levels of fighters back then is so atrocious its actually laughable!

Its like watching 2 winos go at it outside an off licence!

Thanks for quoting my work Mo :good

Unfortunately most of the prats on here would rather look at incomplete Boxrec figures than reading through it. I have him solidly in the top 20. His wins over Lynch, Memphis, Lee, YZK and Conn (who outweighed him by more than 2 stone) proves what an absolute beast he was.

P4P is mythical it doesn't exist and it surely doesn't apply to a midget Flyweight.

It does when the midget flyweight knocks out a massive bantamweight and outpoint guys who would weigh in at almost 120 lb when Jimmy would weigh in fully clothed at just about 100 lb!

He came back from retirement after a 2 year lay off for that fight. Hardly prime.
