To be fair I think manny has an okay chance, however Chavez by a clear, competitive decision would be the most likely outcome

The best verson of Manny at 1140 lbs would have his moments and would make a great fight.....But I would bet in Chavez in the end of the day.

I think Chavez could fight using counter-punches like he did against Ramirez and others.....
    JCC by decision....

I think the come forward style of Chavez would help Pacquiao in a way. That's not to say that Chavez wasn't a good counterpuncher, he does counter well but I think Marquez is better in that aspect. Not sure who would win, but one thing for sure is that no one is getting KO'd. I favor Chavez slightly but Pac can make things difficult for him. Very interesting match up.

Chavez is too educated and Manny too lax on the defensive, which will do him in despite the quite substantial athletic advantages he possesses.

Probably a close but clear decision or late Chavez stoppage if Manny tries to desperately press late in the fight.

I agree with Chavez by decision or late stoppage, but I also echo the sentiments that Manny has a chance. Few were better at cutting off a ring and hammering to the body on the inside (Manny's least favorite range), and Morales showed you can be plenty effective coming forward against Pac with the right fundamentals in place. I do remember Chavez being turned successfully by a tall and mobile southpaw (can't remember his name) sometime before the Taylor fight, which shows that Manny's movement can allow him offensive opportunities and some defensive security, but ultimately, he would find himself in range of Chavez's physical pressure and accurate combination punching.

I believe pac starts off fast, as usual and chavez starts a little slow, as usual. Pac takes the early lead but starting in about round four, chavez begins to close the distance. I see chavez' straight right hand being the key to his entry to the inside of pac mans body and the tremendous body attack slowing his movement and speed. Chavez forces pac to fight on the inside, an area that pac would be at a major disadvantage. Pacmans big heart and will to fight hard rather than hold and run is the biggest reason for him losing via 10 round tko. Chavez' pressure, body attack, stamina and infighting lead to him forcing pac to fight his fight.
