Cotto is on a roll, he is tough and exciting but he has skills, he has to overcome reach, height but he has done a good job cutting off the ring and has not lost, he has great possibilities. Ortiz was great, Gomez was great, Benitez was a excellent boxer( watch his fight vs SSL) Hope,Duran....Trinadad at Welter had great power, good speed...Camacho had great movement, speed, decent power and was durable. Jose Torres good fighter....best of all, lets see how Cotto does in near future, but TRINIDAD,GOMEZ,BENTITEZ are on top right now in any order

You left out Wilfredo Gomez , Jose Torres, Hector Camacho, Sixto Escobar, Esteban DeJesus and Edwin Rosario.
    I vote for Gomez.

Indeed. May sound corny but watching Benitez was like watching poetry in motion. That's why I like Ivan Calderon that much. It's a shame the other so called "champs" at 105 lbs. ran away from him and that's why everyone at 108 is avoiding him like a virus.

Cotto is getting highly overrated in this thread. Cotto is a very good fighter against a very weak resume.

I voted for Benitez after struggling to decide between him, Gomez, and Trinidad. You could probably make a strong case for all three.
