If you were a living legend Boxer, where would your biggest fight take place?

    That was Sugar Ramos-Davey Moore IIRC. And it's just a dream hypothetical, right? It's not like any of us actually are legendary boxers deciding our next fight. I know it wouldn't be an easily doable fight location, but if it's just where we'd want it to be, I'd want it to be Dodger Stadium. They're my favorite baseball team. As for Staples Center, while I love the Lakers, it never really struck me as a good place to hold a fight.

    And as for the LA Coliseum, well, I certainly don't want a bunch of current and former rich USC fans snapping up most of the tickets away from real sports and boxing fans and going to see my fight because it'd be the "cool" bandwagon thing of the month to do in the city.

    Seriously, if I had that much clout and the highest p4p ranking and 100% of the negotiating leverage and the world eating out of my hands and hanging on every word...I'd just ****ing troll everybody and have the bout with the biggest opponent of my career staged in a ****ing high school gymnasium seating 2-3 hundred. :yep

    Let him have the whole purse (since I'd presumably already made my millions by that point anyway). They'd probably have to jack the cost of each seat up to the tens of thousands and make it a $70 PPV just to cover his nut and the broadcast costs. :lol:

    I wasn't bashing your post at all. I like it. I've spent many a summer night at Dodger Stadium and would go watch a big fight there.

    I just didn't know if you knew the history of boxing at the Stadium and figured I might pass along something you hadn't read.
