I don't know where to start. I think the majority of the ****** stable is being wasted by no fault of their own, by being kept on the shelf for periods of inactivity. Noteably, Callum Johnson

I don't agree that Frankie Gavin should be labeled in such a bracket despite what a lot of people think. He has had some personal problems and anyone who has suffered from personal or family related issues should understand. He's still young and looked fantastic in his last two outing. 2012 should continue to bring good things.

In my opinion Degale is the biggest waste of talent. I started out being a massive Degale fan and believing he could become a Great British boxer. But I simply don't think it will happen now, he has the natural ability to make it to the level of Froch (in my opinion) but he insisting on staying with that clown trainer of his and is too scared to be his own man and find someone half decent. Also Fisheyes is doing him no favours keeping with no PR. Damn shame I wish he would eventually go to Matchroom and pair up with a legit trainer but I doubt it will ever happen.

Degale is doing nothing wrong, he just wasn't that talented in the first place.

Degale is having a good pro career, but in my opinion he has not got the ability to be elite.

  3. Degale does have a lot of talent in think. Good jab good variety of punches, fights inside and out, but yeah he's got the wrong trainer and I question his dedication

He's also dreadfully arrogant, if he was less of a twat people would respect him more

Degale and Gavin are both 26, they made their debuts on the same bill and Gavin has had 1 more fight than Degale.

Degale has picked up the BBBofC British super middleweight title and the EBU (European) super middleweight title and a couple of other less notable belts while Gavin has won nothing of note.

i'm not a fan of Degales but to say Degale is wasting his talent but Gavin is not is almost laughable.

Fair point. Degale has acheived a lot in a short period of time but I believe his progression is currently being hindered, possibly wasted because I think he can achieve great heights. I judge him on performances and I feel he looked pretty **** against Piotr Wilczewski basically because of this crappy style being drilled into him by his trainer.

  6. His trainer is domestic level at best

Look at the difference in khan when he went to roach

a big problem is shows being called off and late pull outs i know injuries happen and its a shame but i believe pros should b ticking over in the gym all year round having a week or 2 off after every fight then wen they get a date start upping the training depending on rounds etc

    Gavin, by a country mile.

The bloke got a SD against a FOOTBALLER for heaven's sake (No disrespect intended Curtis! You've got a lot of heart and bottle mate! Fair play ;-)

The kid could be so much more, but he's wasting some of the best talent this country will ever see.

I ****in hope Degale ****s it all away because he's an arrogant little *******. Was ****in delighted when Groves beat him. Its about time BJ Saunders kicked on. I know he beat Bradley Pryce last time out and has had injury problems of late but he should be atleast fighting for the British title now. Though fisheyes will probably trough him in against ****s from Ghana defending the Commonwealth title.

Must be, you don't even hear rumours anymore. Fair enough the pro scene has gone quiet over here but even at its peak they were dormant.

Very surprised they haven't ****ed off. Sponsors and managers must be at their wits end with the three of them.
