Nope i don't agree at all - I think if anyone bails it'll be Martinez - Jr is clearly on the rise, very strong and improving with each fight - I think right now he is his prime - and this is as good as we'll ever see him. While Martinez seems to be declining of late - This should be a great fight and we'll either see jnr get outclassed or his strength and persistance will over power the aging hero in the final rounds.
I am skeptical. I found it strange that it seems to be really happening to be honest. Chavez is as standard as they come, from what I've seen anyway. Don't get me wrong, big respect to anyone who steps into the ring and Chavez is showing he's willing to face the best so I'm not one to start putting him down. But with the state of the sport the way it is, I am surprised to see someone like Chavez with his 'potential' in earnings take such a big step up in competition against the likes of Martinez.
No. They have timed this perfectly. Not to mention jnr will prob enter the ring at around 180 pounds or so.
Really looking forward to this fight if it goes down. It will be a classic battle of size v skill, power v speed and chin v chin! Bring the mother****er on!
I back that :thumbsup Some of the things Jr and Snr have come out saying about Sergio is straight up disrespectfull.
